2. Custom Edge Profiles

The edge of your glass is just as important as the surface. We offer several edge finishes to match your style:

  • Seamed Edge: The sharp edges are sanded down for safety. This is ideal when the glass edge will be hidden inside a frame.

  • Flat Polished Edge: A sleek, modern look where the edge is polished completely flat with a slight chamfer on the top and bottom.

  • Pencil Polished Edge: A smooth, rounded, "C-shaped" edge that blends beautifully with traditional or antique furniture.

3. Safety First: Annealed vs. Tempered Glass

While standard (annealed) glass is suitable for many tabletops, we highly recommend tempered glass for certain applications. Tempered glass is heated and cooled rapidly, making it up to four times stronger than standard glass. If broken, it shatters into small, dull pebbles rather than sharp shards. We always recommend tempered glass for patio tables, low-sitting coffee tables, and homes with young children.
